May (in June)
Just as June is more than halfway over, I finally got around to getting our May photos in order. And I just have to share a couple funny stories behind the pictures.
Nana got Julia a tricycle! This is so very grown up, isn't it? And of course, she has the helmet to match. We haven't had much time to practice but she's taken it for a spin or two. Her favorite part is the little box on the back -- a perfect seat for Ella!
And the first photo, not sure if you can tell, but Julia's got a shiner! Yep, a black eye. Apparently, she and Landon had a bit of a collision. I was so worried about taking her out in public, for fear someone would think I had done it and take her away from me!
In another, do you notice that she's wearing MY glasses? Yes, this is what appeared to me one morning when I was taking a shower.
We had a great time on our little vacation. Three days was just the right amount of time. Taking a trip with a toddler is not exactly relaxing....
One of these days I'll get around to getting the photos off of my camera and on to the computer.
And I should also share a photo of my wedding ring! Mike and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on June 10, and my sweet, sweet husband had three diamonds put onto my plain wedding band. It's so beautiful. One of these days ...
Mike started his second round of chemo the day after we got back. So far, so good. He had a rough week or so after the last chemo -- pretty tired, not really able to eat, bloody nose. We found out his white blood cell counts were really low, which was probably the reason he felt like crap. He got some medicine for it, so hopefully it won't happen this time.
We have noticed the lump in his neck going down. The doctor agreed, which is why he decided to keep on with the chemo a little longer. So that makes us happy!

Beach bum
Just wanted to share some photos...
We went to the beach with some friends last week, and Julia had the BEST time. Remember the days when you could wallow in the sand and not give a darn? Ahh, bliss. Although, I swear I'm still cleaning sand out of that girl's ears.
And in just FIVE short days, we'll be at another beach for our little family vacation. Three fabulous days of wallowing in the sand. I can't wait.
