Meet Destructo...

This little girl may look all cute and sweet and cuddly, but don't let that fool you. She can tear down a book shelf in a single bound. She can empty a basket full of laundry out all over the floor in under two seconds. Toy boxes? Kitchen cabinets? The CD shelf? No problem.

We've started calling her Destructo! And you can see why...

Note the look of glee in her eye as she makes messes all over our house...

A very Cherry weekend

The Cherrys took a road trip this weekend... all the way to Naples to see Lisa, Frank, Nicholas and Madison. What a fun time. Julia looooves her cousins. So cute.
We hung out by the pool, ate lots of good food, went shopping, watched football and the Emmys... a perfect weekend.
And we had an 11-month old (that's right, Julia turned 11 months this weekend!) to entertain us with all manner of noises and stunts, including crawling right over top of Bailey the dog!
So thanks for the hospitality, Casales! And for all the goodies for Miss Julia -- I promise pics soon in her new swimsuit!
See you next month for Julia's birthday party. Oh my goodness.... I just can't believe it!

More before and after...

I thought the before and after of Julia's day out was so darn cute, I have to share another.

This is a picture of Julia's hair when she woke up from her nap this afternoon....
I have no idea what she does in her sleep for this to happen, but it sure cracks me up.

And this one is when she finally let me get near her with a brush.

And one more pic I just have to share because it is soooo funny. It's Julia's fish face. She's been doing it a while, but now she can do it upon request. I swear, she makes us laugh all day long!

Julia's day out

Mike and I had a day off together -- yay! -- the first in many months. So we packed up the baby and headed to West Palm Beach, where we had a lovely day visiting with Gladys, Lydia and Giovanni. We had lunch on the water and got to do some shopping at the Garden Mall, which is my absolute favorite. Too bad I didn't have more time and money.....

But we did manage to pick out some cutie outfits for Miss Julia. It made me so sad to buy clothes in size 12 months. My sweet baby is almost not a baby anymore. Breaks my heart. Can't she just stay tiny forever?

Anyway, here's Julia at the start of our journey...

And here she is at the end...

Have a great week!
